 Welcome to the Ocean City Center for the Arts, the destination for all
things art in the Ocean City community. Home of the non profit Art
League of Ocean City,  our newly built bayside facility features a
spacious two story gallery, a pottery studio, classrooms, art library
and five working artist studios. The galleries display new exhibits of
regional and local artists monthly, some of whom are Art League of Ocean
City members. 

 
Exhibits kick off with an opening reception from 5-7PM on the first
Friday of each month.  The receptions, as with all of our activities,
are open to the public. In addition, we offer workshops for artists of
all ages and skill levels, a summer art camp program and community
events like our Plein Air Painting Competition and Sand Castle Home
Tour. Affordable community meeting space, with beautiful views of the
bay, is available for rent for your next gathering.

 

The Center for the Arts owes its success to many dedicated Art League
of Ocean City members and volunteers who give of their time and talents.
We welcome you to  join our team and get involved.  Whether you are an
artist or simply an art appreciator, visit The Ocean City Center for the

Adult Pottery Classes
Ocean City Center for the Arts
This class will explore both hand building and wheel techniques. A great introduction to pottery or an opportunity to build your ceramic skills!  All materials; clay, glazing and firing included in the cost. 
 
Instructor: Nancy Barnas
 
Cost per session: $35 for Art League members, $45 non members
Cost for 6 sessions: $180 for Art League members, $216 for non members (not available online)

The Spookiest Night of Your Entire Life
Art League of Ocean City
The Ocean City Film Festival presents the Spookiest Night of Your Entire Life.  Film screenings and a costume party hosted by the Art League of Ocean City with all proceeds going to the Ocean City Film Festival 2018 season! 
 
Event Schedule:
The doors will open at 7pm, during which time refreshments are available and attendees can enter in the costume contest.
 
At 7:30pm we will show some assorted local short horror films:
"Sleeptalker" by Jillian Lebling
"Surburban Skeleton" by William Strang-Moya
"The Scare" by torrez Wise
"Undertow" by Rob Waters
 
The films should run until about 8:30pm, winners of the costume party will be announced and filmakers will be present for consultation.
