Children will explore topics and engage in activities in relations to American relations with the native Americans, what happened at Roanoke, talking about the colonial toys, games, and jobs. This class covers a series of hands-on science experiments for home-schooled students. The springtime session adds three new classes to the curriculum and repeat the three most exciting classes from last spring.

This course is designed to teach Spanish to children ages 5 and older. Students will continue to build upon Spanish concepts introduced in the winter session. Body parts, clothing, animals, days of the week, months of the year in addition to building fluency through stories and songs.

Red Doors Community Center
Sign your 3 to 5 year old child up for an exciting science class. There will be lots of hands-on activities for the little ones including balloon rockets, egg experiments, or learn about animal tracks. An adult needs to stay and serve as lab assistant for their little scientist. 
 
Fall, winter, and spring classes all have different topics for a total of 18 different experiments a year.  
 
The cost for this program is $30.

At a plein air event, most are drawn to nocturnes. Nocturnes are the paintings that are the most dramatic and often seem to be the most difficult to achieve. In this course, the instructor will show how to achieve rich, deep jewel tone colors, how to take advantage of artificial light, how to quickly block in your painting, along with what works and what doesn't.
