Historic Lewes Farmers Market This Saturday

Are you planning on making a trip to the Lewes Farmers Market this weekend? Since the forecast is calling for some rain, the Farmers Market is being moved to the Shields Elementary School Parking lot on Savannah Rd. and Sussex Drive in Lewes, DE.
Rain or shine you’ll find all kinds of delicious fruits, vegetables, dairy items, fresh coffee beans, and so much more at the market! Check out the list of vendors below, and visit the Historic Lewes Farmers Market on Facebook for more information!

Farmers Market Vendors

Backyard Jams & Jellies: Bringing a rainbow of flavors to the market every Saturday. They have over 30 types of pepper jelly, four tasty mustards, and at least 50 different sweet jams and jellies.

Baywater Farms: Featuring all-natural hemp products made with hemp organically grown on the farm, produce, grab and go boxes, and more.

Bennett Orchards: A sixth-generation family farm offering tree-ripened peaches, nectarines, and farm-direct blueberries.

Davidson’s Exotic Mushrooms: Will have Portabella, Shiitake, Crimini, Gray Oyster, King Oyster, Pom Poms, and Maitake mushrooms. They also have several combinations of mushroom mixes.

Dittmar Family Farms: They are a 1st generation family-owned and operated farm specializing in community-supported agriculture (CSA) shares and pasture-raised chicken.

Earth Harmony Produce: Bringing cucumbers, garlic, green beans, cut flowers, pesto, cut herbs, and so much more. All grown without pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers.

Elysium Farm: Pasture-raised, organically fed pork from a sustainable family farm. Retail cuts, and value-added products. Meat the way it should be.

Evans Farms Produce: This third-generation family farm will have sweet corn, green tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, red tomatoes, and Gold bar zucchini.

Ficner Farm: Offering potatoes, wax beans, summer squash, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, Kirby cucumbers, kale, green beans, and zinnia bouquets.

Fox Briar Farm: Fox Briar Farm is a community scale, regenerative farm using natural growing methods without artificial pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides.

Fresh Harvest Hydroponics: Fresh Harvest Hydroponics is a family-owned and operated business that specializes in pesticide and herbicide-free produce.

Gaia Coffee Co.: Gaia Coffee Co. is currently offering four different coffees for purchase (light, medium, medium/dark, and a dark roast). All coffee comes directly from Costa Rican farmers and is freshly roasted in micro-batches.

Grass Works Meat Farm: Their selection this week includes eggs, Black Angus beef, and chicken. Grass Works Meat Farm is committed to raising the best all-natural livestock available.

Herbs, Spice, Everything Nice: USDA Certified Organic produce and plants. Bringing fresh produce and herbs to the market.

Jackie Blues: Fourth & fifth generation Commercial Fishermen, offering you the freshest Blue Crabs on the Eastern Shore, from their boat to your table.

Kalmar Farm: Offering sweet corn, beets, cabbage, spring onions, Red Norland potatoes, yellow potatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, and green beans.

Lavender Fields: They have hand sanitizer, several varieties of lavender plants, Bugaway, Body Butter, lavender honey, and other products. They also offer “The Soap Fairy” natural handcrafted soaps, bath salts, and lotions.
Nancy’s CafĂ©: Offering fresh meals including everything from salads to sweets. You can make your selection(s) on the website, pre-pay, and pick-up at the market, or just come to market to select and purchase.
Nice Farms Creamery: Cream-line milk, chocolate milk, butter, and yogurt. All from pastured grass-fed dairy cows-free from artificial hormones.

Old World Breads Bakery: Old World Breads is an artisan bakery in Lewes, Delaware baking handcrafted bread, pastries, and savory items.

Parsons Farms Produce: Offering blueberries. Growers of fine fruits and vegetables, this multi-generational farm has always been a local’s favorite in Sussex County.

The Point Coffee House and Bakery: Bringing everything from sticky buns to pepperoni bread, old brew coffee by the 1/2 gallon, and gluten-free- sugar-free- Keto Donuts and keto Bread.

Stag Run Farm: Offering green beans, candy white and red onions, cabbage, red beets with greens, an assorted gourmet field-grown lettuces, and more.

Totem Farms: Offering a variety of fresh produce, including lettuces, cucumbers, summer squash, garlic, swiss chard, herbs, eggs, and so much more!
