The Wednesday market is located in front of Crooked Hammock Brewery. There is parking right next to it, making for easy access. They are bringing “BlueCrop” heirloom Bennett Blueberries. This classic variety has an overwhelmingly sweet berry flavor and large size. Heirloom tomatoes (no pre-order on these), summer squash, zucchini, boxed patty pan squash, cucumbers, fresh flowers, spring mix, mini Romaine lettuces, arugula, escarole, frisée, Easter egg radish, white onions, Walla Walla sweet onions, garlic scapes, leeks, Toscano and Curly kales, Swiss chard, and eggs.
Herbs: chives, English thyme, green basil, citrus basil, Thai basil, sage, mint, stevia, parsley, and oregano.
Micro greens: mixed, arugula, wasabi, mizuna, mustard, garnet, red Russian kale, basil, and broccoli, fennel, and microgreen salad.
The HLFM advises that due to Covid-19 the Market is very different from last year. A volunteer will be at the entrance with sanitizer spray for customer’s hands. There is only one entrance and one exit, one-way flow, and everyone in the Market must wear a mask.
The Market will continue to match SNAP up to $20 per market, per customer. The SNAP tent will be located near the entrance to the Market and a SNAP volunteer will process SNAP/EBT and give SNAP customers their Bonus Bucks to use at HLFM Markets. WIC and SFMNP coupons are also welcome at the Market.
