Castaways
Catch Lennon LaRicci and the Leftovers at Castaways!

Rick La Ricci was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. While owning and operating a roofing business, Rick also played music on the side at various clubs. His biggest influence was singer/songwriter John Lennon and of course The Beatles. Rick has played various shows and clubs in Baltimore and Ocean City. While residing in Ocean City Rick's son Lennon La Ricci was born.

After moving back to Baltimore and seeing his father play music his whole life Lennon had taken an interest in music himself. One day while strumming on a guitar, Rick asked Lennon what instrument he wanted to play. Lennon chose the piano/keyboard as his first instrument.  Rick's dream was to play on the same stage as his son so he decided to take him to his old friend Jim Jones who runs and operates a music school called The Music Work Shop. Jim Jones took a special interest in Lennon and started giving him personal lessons. Ricks dreams would come true quicker than expected because 6 months later he and Lennon played together for the first time at The Horse You Came In On in Fells Point, Md. They started doing monthly gigs at The Horse You Came In On Saloon in Baltimore Maryland where they would hone their skills. As Lennon's music skills progressed he started learning more sets and doing longer shows. Rick and Lennon have played at Oregon Ridge Blues Festival, Hampden Festival, Hot August Blues, Bill Bateman’s, The Horse, The Hon Fest and all over Ocean City Maryland.

Lennon's life long dream is to become a professional songwriter and musician.  Along the way bandmates have come and gone, but what still remains is Rick and his son Lennon doing what they love everyday…playing music.

Hunter Hayes Picture
July 28 `17
Freeman Stage

For Hunter Hayes, complacency is the enemy. After being nominated for a handful of Grammy Awards, snagging a collection of CMA’s and touring the world behind a pair of critically-acclaimed albums, it would be far too easy for the revered singer-songwriter and top-notch musician to rest on his laurels. But Hayes wants more. “I had to get in the mindset of ‘I’m starting over,’” the 25-year-old says boldly of a rigorous two-year process during which he wrote more than 100 songs; made a Nashville studio his personal playground and, most important for his development as a category-defying artist and musical innovator, flipped convention on its head.

The initial returns on Hayes’ focused pursuit of the bold and new are a trio of songs released direct to fans via his social media: “Yesterday’s Song,” “Amen,” and “Young Blood.” Written with Barry Dean and Martin Johnson and produced with Dann Huff, “Yesterday’s Song” is a sonically boisterous stunner; a rollicking, breakneck rock jam that, at its lyrical core, is a no-nonsense breakup song — a kiss-off that doubles as “a joyous celebration” of moving on and never looking back. “It’s like ‘I’m gone and going so fast you’ll never catch me!’” he says of the song’s flavor, adding that breakup songs like it, off “life-changing” albums like Rascal Flatts’ Me and My Gang, Adele’s 21 or John Mayer’s Continuum, have long been essential to his life.

Assigned seating events require tickets for all patrons, including infants and toddlers. No re-entry allowed. Seats are provided.

45th Street Taphouse
Scott Glorioso has played drums in a number of reputable bands over the past decade and is now coming into his own as a solo artist since falling in love with singing with a guitar in his hands. You can catch him playing acoustic or with a drum machine- when there's a need for him to bring a bit more energy to a crowd. His style is influenced by artists such as Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, and Pearl Jam. The people have called for a tastefuly spicy local artist to bring them the Alternative, Rock, and Reggae that they want to hear, and Scott Glorioso serves it up nice!
