While visiting our website you can take some time to reminisce with our Ocean City Memories or let yourself travel back through time to join the heroic Surfmen of the US Life-Saving Service on a rescue mission. Preview some of our exhibits or look up family history in our genealogy section.
 
When in Ocean City, Maryland join us by taking a tour of the Life-Saving Station Museum. You’ll find captivating exhibits featuring the history of the U.S. Life-Saving Service and Ocean City History. Other displays include; "Surfs Up! - Riding the Waves of Change", "The Boardwalk of Yesterday", "Sands of the World", and much more.  Aquariums featuring local marine life are a favorite for young and old alike. There is something here for everyone. The meticulously restored building that was once scheduled for demolition, is now a monument to Ocean City History.

This 30 minute program will give you a glimpse into the lives of four influential women who were responsible or running some of Ocean City's largest establishments in the 1920s.

The Ghost Walk will take you through downtown Ocean City and covers more than 10 historic spots from the inlet to Fourth Street.  You will hear about hotels still haunted by their founders, a cigarette-smoking ghost and other lingering spirits.  
 
The cost for adults is $20, and the cost for children is $15.

Historic House Tour
Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum
As the footprint of Ocean City has changed, many of our original buildings have been lost. In this inaugural event, participants will have the chance to step into the past as they tour some of Ocean City's oldest homes, cottages, and other iconic sites. Museum docents will be at each site to discuss the unique history of each building.  The event will benefit the George & Suzanne Hurley Memorial Scholarship Fund.
