Ocean City Event Detail

Jump back to the '60's and let your imagination soar!  Inspired by Andy Warhol, portraits in bright colors are always exciting.  In this class, we will paint an 8 x 10 portrait using acrylic paint (or any size you prefer).. First, we'll trace them onto our canvases and draw the faces using black paint that becomes part of the picture.  Then bright colors will be added to create wonderful pop art portraits.  My favorites are yearbook photos from 1969, but you are free to use any photo!

You can rent supplies from instructor for $5.

Canvas 8 x 10 or larger

acrylic paints – bright colors

brushes

black & white photographs

tracing paper
