The Eastern Shore Intensive Wrestling Club, under the direction of Coach Keith Tobin and his staff, provides young grapplers in the area with training and mentoring all year around in an effort to provide them with a foundation for future success. Throughout the year, the club’s wrestlers travel all over the Eastern Shore and beyond to compete in various tournaments and state competitions.
At the St. Charleroi Lee Hall Open “Battle for the Belt” tournament in Pennsylvania, ESIWC’s Noah Reho took first place in his age and weight class and was rewarded for his effort with a huge championship belt. Meanwhile, another group of ESIWC wrestlers competed in the 33rd Annual Spartan Wrestling Tourney at St. Mark’s High in Wilmington, Del. and brought home some more championship hardware.
Andy McKahan came in first in his age-weight division, while Anthony Caruso and Jagger Clapsadle each battled back to take third in their respective age-weight classes. ESIWC wrestlers this weekend will compete in the Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Association (MAWA) qualifiers and the Maryland-Virginia Top 3 State Tournament this weekend.
