For years, the Community Church of Ocean Pines has been sending workers from their congregation to states in the Appalachian region in support of the Appalachian Service Project (ASP), which helps to repair homes for those who cannot do it. On Saturday June 11, a contingent of 40-plus from the church will be leaving for North Carolina.  Kiwanian Phil Lassiter is pictured receiving a $500 donation from the Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean City President Carolyn Dryzga for the mission.
