BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity tennis teams stayed on an early season roll this week with the boys and girls each beating Washington High by scores of 7-0.

After sweeping county rival Pocomoke in the season opener last week, the Seahawk boys and girls tennis teams cruised past visiting Washington on Tuesday. On the boys’ side, John Hastings, John Niefeldt, Tim VanVonno, Zach Elmer and Joe Iacona each won singles matches. Logan Simpson and Logan Romberger won their doubles match.

On the girls’ side, Madison Pope, Tori Whigham, Lexi Ashton, Charlotte Pesche and Delaney Iacona each won singles matches, while the team of Calais Rodriguez and Mallory Rolleston won their doubles match.
