Eighth grade Stephen Decatur Middle School student Ian Waggoner has published his first novel, “The Jungle”.  The eBook is available on Amazon.com and soon on iTunes.  It all started last year with an assignment in Mrs. Hammond’s seventh grade class for students to write a short adventure story. He chose to write about a 15-year-old boy involved in a plane crash in the jungles of Central Africa.
