SNOW HILL — A Lower Shore man lost his life in a single-vehicle accident along Route 113 between Snow Hill and Pocomoke last Sunday evening.

Just before 9 p.m. last Sunday, Maryland State Police troopers responded to a reported single-vehicle accident along Route 113 between Snow Hill and Pocomoke in the south end of Worcester County.

The investigation revealed a 2006 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Kyle Brittingham, 26, of Pocomoke, was traveling south on Route 113 when it went across both lanes of travel and into the median.

The Jeep then overturned several times, ejecting Brittingham. The victim was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.

According to police reports, the victim was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The investigation is ongoing this week.
