OCEAN CITY -- As interest in local wineries and breweries continues to grow, the recently launched website, www.toastourcoast.com has added a few new brewery trail stops.

New to the site are 3rd Wave in Delmar, Eastern Shore Brewing in St. Michaels and Tall Tales in Parsonsburg. Additionally, a new mobile app has been launched.

3rd Wave, located in the original Evolution Craft Brewing home, is a dream come true for two friends whose mission is to produce a quality of tastes that can be shared at the beach.

An historic mill complex in St. Michaels is the home of Eastern Shore Brewing started by a husband-and-wife team who wanted to make a business out of doing something they loved.

Tall Tales, located off Route 50 between Berlin and Salisbury, prides itself on brews themed on folk lore such as Calamity Jane, Paul Bunyan and Annie Oakley.

The trail is dedicated exclusively to the Eastern Shore region with no cost for wineries and breweries to participate. The trail covers eight counties in three states -- Accomack and Northampton counties in Virginia, Worcester, Wicomico, Somerset and Dorchester counties in Maryland and Kent and Sussex Counties in Delaware.

In addition to listings, the website offers information on tours, tastings, retail operation, food service, meeting facilities, a clickable trail map and links to follow each on Facebook and twitter. The Toast Our Coast website also helps promote events such as wine and beer festivals, as well as smaller events held at each of the sites.

ToastOurCoast.com is a collaborative effort between the Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association, Worcester County Tourism and D3Corp with a goal of promoting the many local wineries and craft breweries on Delmarva in hopes of spurring tourism.
