Upon his retirement, Bud moved to Ocean City where he was an active volunteer for AARP, the Elks, The Sons of Italy, The Ocean City Crime Watch, The Mac Center and the Montego Bay Civic Assoc.

Both he and his late wife, Anna M. Worsham, were honored by AARP with the Outstanding Senior Citizens if the Year Award in 1995 for their many services to Ocean City. Bud was a humble, unassuming, kind and generous man who was well loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by a daughter, Dr. Antoinette M. Worsham; sister-in-law, Simone Passaro; nephews, David Howard, Richard Howard, Frank Passaro and Joseph Passaro; niece, Margaret Bowers; great nephews, Michael and Patrick Passaro; and his dear 9-year-old pet cat, Blackie (who now desperately needs a loving new home).

A Mass will be offered in remembrance of Bud on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church at 14401 Sinepuxent Ave., Ocean City, Md. All friends and loved ones who wish to do so are invited to participate with Bud’s daughter, Toni, in the special Mass service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary, PO Box 430, Nassau, Del. 19969. Arrangements are being handled by the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin.
