The Worcester County Commissioners join with representatives from the Department of Social Services in proclaiming June as Elder Abuse Awareness Month in Worcester County and asking area residents and visitors to help protect older Americans who fall victim to abuse, neglect or exploitation at the hands of trusted individuals by becoming aware, recognizing the warning signs and advocating for them by reporting suspected abuse.
