Badger was the guest speaker at the weekly meeting and talked about the prospect of having a train ride from Berlin to Snow Hill, similar to the Strasburg Railroad in Strasburg, Pa, offshore wind turbines, the development of the Pines Plaza now under new ownership and the retail developments on Route 50 in front of both Wal-Mart and Home Depot.
