Worcester Prep eighth grade student Jordan Welch received high Honors for his scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), which he took as part of the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) program. At the statewide ceremony for academically-advanced students, Jordan was honored as one of the brightest young students in the nation. For exceptional performance on the SAT, he was awarded a certificate, a lapel pin, and a book about the CTY High Achievers. He is pictured in front of Shriver Hall on the JHU campus.
