OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks’ 4^th Annual Sportsmanship Ceremony this week recognized youth athletes that have exemplified good sportsmanship throughout the winter season during recreation programs held at the Northside Park Recreation Complex.

Basketball coach Chris Veirs was selected by the Ocean City Recreation Boosters as Volunteer of the Year for 2014. Receiving sportsmanship awards for girl’s basketball were Deliyah Holland, Sarah Lydic, Hannah Hammel-Naylor, Nicole Telo, Lauren Cannateli, Nadia Bullock, Yasmeen Sbih, Sophia Ludt, Emily Stitely, Brooklyn Pugner, Isabella Kristick, Jenna Banks, Dina Sbih, Elizabeth Berkey, Mae Purnell, and Katie Mitchell.

Receiving sportsmanship awards for boy’s basketball were Colin Bunting, Cole Donneley, Mason Lewis, David Lockwood, Court McCabe, Gus Croll, Luke Bahlman, Chris Sichina, Michael Romano, Joe Buxbaum, Jason Baione-Leiderman, Bryce Taranto, Martin Furst, Bryson Marshall, Greyson Gursky, Jamier Felton, Chasyn Beachley, Paul Haddad, Kevin Beck, Gavin Bunting, Jaiquez Jones, Garrett Peterson, Ben McCabe, Garrett Tinus, Michael Cedeno, Wyatt Davis, Christopher Leitgeb, Jake Sites, Dryden Brouse, Scott Berry, and Vinnie Catrino.
